State Farm is not a Good Neighbor
I was a policyholder of Auto, Home, and Life insurance with State Farm as well as being an employee for close to 13 years. If consumers had any idea of what took place in a days time at this company, they would cancel and seek other coverage.
When not in meetings, micromanagement is the agenda for their management. At one point I worked in a department that I keyed/typed policies into the system and ran machines that took images of claims paperwork. Why did our boss have us spend time writing reports of what we did in a week; and then return them to us with red marks as if we were in grade school? Is this a wise way to spend policyholders money?

They were focused on the 'image' of the employee rather than the employee's knowledge and work performance. By image, I speak of how one is dressed. Certainly it is important to be professional at the workplace, but State Farm took it to another level."
