State Farm - Insurance Reviews Page 3 of 12: "Hire a Lawyer no matter what!
I was rear-ended by someone that had State Farm Insurance. The State Farm rep said they would take care of everything. I signed/sent a medical release form. The dealership took care of getting them to pay for the damages to my car. When the medical bill from the hospital came in, it was sent to them. I received 2 phone calls from them since the initial one claiming that they never received the medical form. Each time they sent another one for me to sign/send. One I sent to where they wanted it sent; the other one I dropped off at their office (in which the agent wasn't there). I never received another phone call. Now, I find that they have refused to pay the $2000 medical bill because there was no '3rd Party Settlement' (told to me by a different agent)...a phrase I never heard! Plus, since it's now past the 2 year mark, there's nothing I can do! If you are ever hit by someone who has State Farm Insurance, GET A LAWYER!"
