I've been with State Farm since 1991 . I had roof damage 2 yrs. ago . I went through a rough time . I had filed for my disabilty and it took 2 yrs. to get it . Then my mother passed away in Nov. My life just hasn't been the same since . Anyways to make a long story short , I went to get an estimate on my roof and got one in March . They said I was 2 months over my deadline . I only had 2yrs. to get a new roof . I asked them if there was anyway I could get some kind of extention . They ( some office in Tulsa , OK ) told me it was my problem not theres . I get the rules , trust me I get it . They went over it with me over and over . The person working with me told me we could open up a new claim and put it under a storm that came through in May , 2009 . It was declared the whole state of Arkansas had damage . I said OK let's to it . They sent out an adjuster , and he said the roof was totaled . He wrote me a check , and then they renegged . They wanted their money back . ( Part 1 )
