When we were with state farm, we had damage to our roof and front porch from storms. State farm spent thousands of dollars to hire consultants to refute our claim and though our policy should have covered our losses, state farm refused to pay out a dime. We fought with them but in the end, hiring a lawyer to take them to court was so expensive we could not pursue the matter. This company stinks. Allstate stinks too. They are just as unscrupulous as state farm. Stay away. Their rates are no bargain because they won't pay your claim.
