I am an employee of State Farm for three years. The job is not what you think it is after you walk through the door. There is discrimination galore at the office. People there 10 years lose promotions to 21 year old college grads on a continuous basis. These people walk in the door with no experience and get Claim Rep jobs they refuse to give to their own hard working employees already there. Employees are having surgeries for carpal tunnel left and right. They are monitored on phones 6-7 hours daily in some departments. Employees are very unhappy at State Farm and the turnover continues to grow steadily. Employees are afraid to speak of the events going on behind closed doors for fear of reprimand. I am looking for another job and hopefully it will be soon that I can leave. I am a hardworker but the Good Neighbor motto is not true. Most employees that I have witnessed are also very unhappy with the company."
