Facebook | State Farm Insurance SUCKS!!: "Lesley Ann Million-Ballard Had a water line break but it was on 'our side' as the water company explained. Had water all over our basement. I got an estimate to fix the damage and the secretary at the State Farm office told me to go ahead and get the work started. The contractor started the work and 2 hours later the insurance agent calls me back and says it is not covered due to some 'earth movement' clause in our policy. We were stuck with the whole $5K bill even after the secretary told us it was covered and to go ahead with the work. Our agent was a total ass about the whole thing and said she wasn't authorized to give us the go ahead. Who has $5K laying around? The have also denied roof repair when others in our neighborhood had hail damage. Hate State Farm."
